Not for nothing, but....
...as someone who must take the subway, it pisses me off to read this about the security alert for NYC subways which Bloomberg has said was based on the most specific information they have ever received before ever about a terrorist attack:
"A law enforcement official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told the Associated Press that the threat is "specific to place, time and method," and that the method is bombing."
Fucking great. Tell us the time and place so EACH of us can make the judgment whether we want to be at that time and place. Excuse me if I want to bring sneakers and walk 2 hours to get home, and not put myself in harms way while chomping on Freedom Fries (NTTAWWT) and bragging how the terrorists "will never change the way I live my life".
