My father was part of the occupation forces in Germany. If one of his soliders got out of line they threatened to transfer them to a base in France. That always got them to straighten up (it was like our Russian front).
So I was not exactly raised in a pro-french atmosphere.
The French loathe neoliberal economists and Neo-cons. Being a member of both catagories I pretty much consider them the enemy.
When I visited Berlin (when the wall was still up) I spray painted on it make Spain an Island.
