I think people in Canada are just as violent as anywhere else - not as much access to guns, so not as many shootings, but people kill and beat each other up just the same there as in other places. Apparently way back when we burned down the White House twice. (Not really something to be proud of). I guess someone did a good PR job at some point about our peacefulness.
