Did you read the article? Did you understand the implications? Do you talk anyone you know who has kids and lives in Chicago? They have 3 choices: (1) subject their children to generally terrible schools; (2) move to the suburbs; or (3) spend 15-20K a year in post tax dollars (on top of tax dollars off the top of gross income for public education) to pay for private school.
