Junk mail
Is it hopeless to think that I can do something to reduce the amount of CLE mailings I get, short of letting my license lapse (if that would even work)? I think that every CLE provider that does programs for my state sends stuff to me. Based on the form of address it looks like they're all getting my name straight from the state bar.
Another reason to advise 3Ls who have some choice about which bar to take not to take one that requires CLE . Having to earn the credits is bad enough, but the level of junk mail is insane.
Also, who told the ABA that they should fax CLE offerings to associates at their office numbers?
