The smart thing to do would be to give him a one game suspension and a minor fine. It's not going to be a trend unless they do something stupid like have a separate section in each stadium for players' families. At most, they should have a box for all the players' use. If you're a player's wife and you choose to sit down amongst the crowd, you will do it at your own risk.
That said, security should be all over any idiot who is acting in a menacing way towards anybody in the stadium. What the fuck are the ushers for anyway? They should have alerted security as soon as that jackass started acting the fool.
