I've been wondering -- in Scalia's opinion, he mentioned laws regulating adultery and masturbation as possibly being the next to go now that sex involving things other than one vagina and one penis is OK.

Are there really laws against adultery and masturbation? I realize that adultery can be a basis for support and may affect the division of assets in a divorce, and there are a couple states where you can sue on the civil side for alienation of affection. But he seemed to be more on the criminal side -- can I really (even theoretically) get hauled into court for masturbating (without indecent exposure, of course)? What if someone reaches orgasm in an exercise class or because of vibrations from a vehicle, without actually touching their genitals? Legal, or illegal? Moral, or immoral?
