Having dealt wtih such people a fair bit in a former life, I think there is probably not too much to worry about in reality. I wouldn't let my guard down or anything, but from their perspective you are already headed for a worse punishment than you can possibly imagine, so why should they bother? They would rather be smug in the knowledge that your skin will melt for eternity in the firey brimstone of hades than act in such a way as to hasten your arrival. Eternity is a long time and hell is really hot; it'll keep.
Take every precaution you can, by all means. But 999,999 times of of a million these folks are all bark and no bite.
