It amuses me no end that American women of
every political stripe talk about Islamic dress traditions as being repressive to women, because a culture is backward if its modesty codes apply to anything more than three inches to either side of the pudendum, buttcrack and nipples.
To these women I say: I free you from the oppression of shirts! Cast off your bonds! You have nothing to lose but your pants, and the world to gain!
