I'm not sure lost Israeli tribes, secret golden tablets and translating the word of god out of a hat are "theological minutiae."
OTOH, I grew up in an area dominated by Baptists but with a significant Mormon population. They got along just fine. Better than with the Methodists and Lutherens.
