Sigh. OK, if you already accepted the invite, I tend to go with little silk chemises and matching kimonos. You can get a set for $70 at Victorias secret. Nice, safe, flexible sizes. But lingere showers are particularly inappropriate for a second marriage, as they presume the guest of honor needs such a shower because she has never before had any reason to have underwear or sleepwear that is even slightly attractive.
Did I express strongly enough that I am disturbed by the tension between "second wedding" and "premarital sex = bad" and "lingere party" thing? This person sounds like she has very confused morals.
