I disagree. I would rather watch a fair event without the dopers. Let's learn who is the truly the second-best (after Lance) without help. It is only uninteresting and meaningless because you only know the "stars" that the media has sold you, and they are the equivalent of Bonds, Giambi, McGuire and Palmeiro. You were only interested, and only found meaning, in a rigged game. Did you also enjoy Danny Almonte's Little League games?
I don't mind if doping is legalized and accepted (and eventually surgical and genetic augmentation), but it should be a separate league for people those who do from those who don't. The athletes that gave the race meaning and interest to you were (alleged) cheats, and that reeks to me of NFH, thinking that insect stick figures that cannot be achieved by one woman in a million are beauty because Entertainment Tonight says so.
