I think that it is safe to assume that any person who had a boy/girlfriend for more than 3-4 months in high school was having sex. Unless they specifically told you they were not and you have reason to believe them. That is sort of the way teenage hormones work.
Of course others were having random drunk hook-up sex (a kind, as Coltrane points out, that is even less likely to be disclosed to friends by the girls having that sex), but the boyfriend/girlfriend thing is a minimum baseline.
I had sex in high school, and I'm not sure that I ever talked to any of my friends about the fact that I was having sex. I certainly never talked about it with any friends who I did not think were having sex. I'm sure some assumed that I was and some were naive.
