ETA: 2-300k in my neighborhood doesn't get you jack, and I live in a small house. My wife and I are rich when you compare us with Cletus the dirt farmer in North dakota, or an inner city crack dealer, but we're very, very fucking middle class. I think upper class starts around $500k. That's about where you can start acting a fool with the checkbook.

ETA2: $600. I meant 600k.

ETA3: Maybe that was high - $525 might put you in not-giving-a-shit land. Problem is, to get that money, you have to spend a lot of money. Private day school alone is $25k around here.
