I used to think the bankers were douchebags, then several months back I was at an industry conference and a couple of the business guys from one of my client's lenders invited me to dinner. They ordered a 88-90 vertical of Petrus, and. one. word:
Their expense account.
My opinion of the utility of hanging with bankers went up that evening.
