Just be aware that they're not exactly the same size, unless you have extra-long twin beds, or are willing to rotate the king size mattress so that it's cross-wise (i.e., it's "head" and "foot" should be on the two sides of the twins. Otherwise, you'll have about a 4" overhang.
You'll still have places for the cuffs, though.

I forgot about that. But you could have new side supports made to be the right length. All in all, it's easier to buy a new bed but there are possibilities.
