I recently read L'il Ty one of his children's books about a family of foxes and three farmers trying to kill them. It was creepy.
I was thinking about reading him Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, but he's not all that tuned into candy and I'm worried about calling it to his attention and glorifying it. Probably this is silly.
Am now reading him a book called
The Tale Of Despereaux. Recommended. Despereaux is a mouse who has parents, but they stand uselessly by when the head mice send him to the dungeon for talking to humans.
eta: The Dalh was
The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
