The college corollary happened this week during the Clemson/FSU Bowden Bowl. Clemson pretty much dominated but seemed insistent on giving the game away in the first half.
* PAT attempt by Clemson, blocked, run back for 2 pt conversation for FSU.
* Field goal attempt by Clemson, blocked, run back for touchdown by FSU.
Reporter caught the younger Bowden at halftime, and couldn't even complete the question about CU's abysmal special teams, and Bowden interrupted, saying "Nope, I'm not doing that anymore. We're not kicking again."
And they didn't. Still won.
