As for increasing the wage for part time work, that would completely screw someone trying to get into the workforce. Part-time jobs are often a way to show you can do it--why discourage employers from hiring those people?

I am not buying that. We can hire and fire at will this country, why does someone have to be hired part time to see if they can do a job. Why can't they be hired full time for one day or two days. A test period does not have to be part time.
