It's not clear that George wouldn't have more sex with Meredith, despite the crying-during-sex. In fact, I dare say he would.
Synergy moment: today I was at the vet, in the waiting room forever (9:50-10:45 before called in for my 9:50 appt.), and thus watched much of "The View." George's girlfriend on GA was a fill-in-host. She was quite good. Apparently she won a Tony for Spamalot.
