So I got my 3rd cortisone shot ever today.* I don't know how professional athletes do it. For some reason, the orthopedists believe that the worst part is the needle piercing skin. What they don't tell you about is the burning, ohmygodtheburning. And the joint pain from someone sticking a needle in the joint.

So if you are given the option, please tell your orthopedist to give you the sharp stick in the eye instead.

* this is what you get for being reckless and careless with your body. Contrary to popular belief, I am not clumsy.
