Barrel Fever was not one of my favorites, and it had some of the same stories from Holidays on Ice (which I liked better.) I can't remember the name of the book that is basically a collection of stories about his childhood. I thought it was outstanding. There is one story that talks about the death of his mother that [literally] I was laughing hysterically on one page, and crying (not because of laughing) on the next. I can't remember which book that was, though.
Me Talk Pretty was hilarious. I loved the half about his being in Normandy. Absolutely hilarious.
