I was always sort of confused that they played Kashmir in that scene as opposed to one of the songs from Led Zeppelin IV (e.g., Misty Mountain Hop). Of course now that I'm wiser I realize that Ratner was not yet ready to make-out, hence he was not playing IV in the tapedeck.
Also, I always thought it was side one, not two. A google search finds quotes that use either of them. My own preference would be side two.
