Also, I always thought it was side one, not two. A google search finds quotes that use either of them. My own preference would be side two.

I think that's one of the nuances that makes the movie so good. Not only does Rat show up in a station wagon and forget his wallet at home at the restaurant, he also plays the wrong (according to DaMone) make-out music...
