Football rule
In the wacky game-ending play by the Jets (against Indy)* at least two of the laterals looked like fumbles and were described as such by the highlights announcer. What happened to the Stabler/Holy Roller rule? Were they in fact ruled laterals, or is that rule out the window?
*The one where every witty announcer asked why the Stanford Band wasn't on the field.
