Not necessarily. This actually may be a case of beltway stuff that really doesn't impact people outside of the sphere of politics. I mean, everyone knows that South Floridia was a godless place, and party leaders are supposed to be corrupt. (see, motherfucking jackass Tom DeLay) Has nothing to do with the guy bringing home a GM factory and a bridge to nowhere.
