I am not a native Texan. I was here before the boom and I am here after the bust, so I think that makes me a Texan and not one of those Californians who have now returned from whence they came.
Houston is a lovely city, with big beautiful parks, world-class museums, outstanding restaurants. It's cosmopolitan and the people are friendly. What more could you want in a big city?
