Some of us here are working tirelessly to make the board a more tolerant, welcoming place where people can feel as if they are part of a caring community. Others seem to use the boards as nothing more than a vehicle for vicious, cruel, judgmental pronouncements about other posters, their personalities, looks, grammar, taste, sexual orientation and breakfast sandwich choices. I think the time has come for all of us to take a good, long look at ourselves and ask which sort of poster we are, and which sort we want to be.
