There are no "good" pinots under $20 dollars, and only a couple of drinkable ones. Edna Valley. If you get a good bottle, it's very good. If you get a crappy bottle, it's like swill. The problem with inexpensive pinot, is that you're always taking that risk. I don't know why. Edna Valley is more consistent than the others. And you'll have to believe me because I probably drink more Pinot than anyone else you know. And less Syrah. And more chardonnay. And more just wine in general.
