One size does not fit all in terms of punishment however. Tokyo Rose wasn't executed. John Walker Lindh got what, 20 years in prison?

The Rosenbergs were convicted of selling atomic secrets, obtained as spies, as I recall. You can't rationally compare these two cases. [But that never stops you.]

If the evidence shows that this young burnout taught Al Qaeda any American "secrets" beyond heavy metal music and goat farming techniques, I'll reconsider. At this point, however, I think a nice long prison term would suffice.
