Weird exercise trends

I can't decide if I'd really, really want to take it or if I find the whole concept weird and offputting. They seem to have a lot of classes that fit that description for me.
Looking at the class list sort of reminded me of something one of my trainers used to do: He'd ask people if they'd taken the totally made up Karate Pilates at some unnamed gym yet.
The people who always seem to try the latest and greatest craze without actually thinking about it* would say stuff like "Not yet, but I hear it's really good."
The people who gave the concept a little thought were "Karate Pilates? What the hell is that?"
*note, this is not a personal attack.
How were people who just said "Nope!" characterized?
