FWIW, at least the AL is competitive. The Yankees, sadly, got steamrolled by a dominant pitching staff and a team that was the best in the Majors for most of the season.
The National League was a pathetic joke. Karl Ravech called it AAAA. The Mets losing to the Cardinals this year would be almost as embarrassing as the "Great Collapse of '04"
