I thought about this some more this weekend, but I have no idea why. If they significantly cut the train scene with the gorilla suit, your claim would be a lot stronger. Swedish meatballs/rucksack and beef jerky are classic, but the gorilla and Jim Belushi not so much.

Agreed on Jim Belushi, but at least, in my opinion, he didn't get in the way and drag the movie down. Besides, they had to get Al Franken and the other handler some screen time. Plus there are other decent parts to the train scene.
