There ought to be a rule that allows for that. You should be able to ask someone politely if you might view them nude, and not have it be considered a socially untoward act.

I've seen everyone from a particular group of friends naked, due to someone's "no clothes allowed in the swimming pool" rule and the rather large amount of alcohol / drugs available at that same friend's house. It's not as exciting as one would think.
