Bullshit. I assure you that all those places, much like New York, have their fair share of empty-headed, gym worshippers who care about nothing other than their looks, the guy they're screwing's looks, drugs, house music and their clothes. I have overheard many, many idiotic conversations that make it obvious that they are no different than any other demo when it comes to brains, culture, looks and depth.
That said, there are many very intelligent, cultured and witty gay men as well. I just don't think the numbers are any different than those of the general population.
