Long story longer, hipster #1 is saying the place and the person he was visiting was low class because (i) he didn't bother to clean up and/or (ii) he had cheap, low class taste. Hipster #2, possibly wondering if the last time he had Mountain Dew everyone around him considered him ghetto as well, wanted clarification on whether Mountain Dew consumption in and of itself signaled ghettoness.
