This is the statement we were dicussing:
"Racism cannot be justified because you have been a victim of racism (or that other people of your race have been victims). Racism or racial slurs are either wrong or they are not. "
He disagree with this statement.
Then in the end, when I asked him to agree with this statement he said this is not what we were talking about. He said we were talking about something else and that he never disagreed with this statement. He accused me of being stupid because I didn't know what we were talking about. But above is the statement that started it all.
TM also accused me of being obssessed with this topic. Obsessesd? I was just staying on point. He tried to make up all sorts of arguement I was making, when this was the only one (or at least everything I said was to back up this one).
I wan't interested in arguing about anything else and didn't argue about anything else. Yet you accuse me of being the illogical one? I tried to keep the discussion on subject, but then I get accused of taking the conversation off on tangents.
What is wrong with that statement up above? Was I wrong to defend it?
