Look at the man in the mirror

I even put that right there in the post - not really hiding the ball or anything). If you don't get that, I cannot help you. You have yet to provide any explanation for how your posts can or should be construed as witty banter. Seriously, that is the line you are going to stick to? Where is the joke?
I believe the quote is something like "do you find me amusing, like a Clown?" In other words, Joe Pesci was asking the guy with the pock marks on his face if he found Joe Pesci amusing. He was not telling him he thought he was amusing. In any event, the "Like a clown" was obviously not enough for me to pick up the reference. Maybe if you had put in the form of a question. Didn't get it.

As far as the humor in my statements, my first inclination was to write "lighten up Francis". If I was not trying to joke around I would have accused you of being hostile. Instead, I said "I am sensing a little hostility" which I believe is a quote from sixteen candels. Anthony Michael Halls says it to Molly Ringwald (or her friend) when he is trying to talk her at the dance. He also says "nice manners babe". Anyway, it is a sarcastic comment that I have heard many times.

There is some humor that can't be explained. Either you get it or you don't. Why did you find my comments so offensive or combative?
