Second, why would it irritate you that someone is praying for you? How does that affect you? If she were praying with you, that would be different.
Third, she know's she's gained weight. Do you think her waistband doesn't tell her every day that she's gained weight? When you were gaining weight I'm sure you took the opportunity to have that second helping. Did people tell you to back off? And don't use that pregnancy excuse "I'm eating for 2" because that's not fooling anyone.
Would anything anyone have said to you at the time make you stop eating what you were eating or would it have made you feel bad?

No. (hanging head and feeling guilty/chastened) nothing would have stopped me and I would have felt bad/horrible/defensive.
