He is an asshole not because he wants an available seat [although his 6"4ness is kind of uncomfortable but I digress]
he is in asshole because it is only a half an hour and if you are obviously in limited space, it is not necessary to "amuse" yourself for only a half an hour by elbowing me each time you flip the power point slides muttering to yourself. These 1/2 hour types often open up the NY Times on your head [not the nice train fold] amuse yourself all you want as long as it does not infringe upon others.
