I love the show, but hate the casting decisions. The sister is the worst actress and worst character on tv. The lieutenant is another horrible choice. The actress can't pull of what is probably a complex character in the book (or should be) and she doesn't have much to work with. The two other cops aren't bad.
The whole show is Dexter. And Michael C. Hall is very good. The actor who plays his father is also very good. It is definitely worth watching, but, aside from these two characters, not because of the casting decisions.
