I just received the list of things that we need to have stocked for Fringey's weekend trip:
- We understand Ms. Benefit may be visiting you soon. congratulations. In order to ensure her visit is most enjoyable for you and her, and to avoid unpleasantness, we require the following be in your larder prior to her arrival:
applewood smoked bacon- 1 lb per day
pancake ingrediants
3 fresh donuts each AM (edit- thank god there's a Tim's down the street)
Coffee ready at 8AM each morning
Deli meats and breads for lunch (assorted)
potato salad 1/2 lb per day
Belgium beers 4 per day of visit
assorted chocolate bars (1/2 dozen per day)
Ribeye steaks for dinner each evening (bone in)
baked potatos and assorted toppings
stir fried vegetables
Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir choices for each evening-
(vineyard at host's choice- but $25 per bottle range)
Fresh coffee after dinner, Sambuca and Bailey's for coffee
1 Case of Sake (edit- typo? maybe she meant 1 bottle?)
Crackers and cheeses
Whipped cream
Ice cream
Assorted cake
Also you should plan on taking Ms. Benefit out to dinner at least 50% of the evening she will be visiting. Lunch should be out at least 33% of the time.
We have found that careful preparation and attentino to the detailed instructions listed above are most likely to allow you to complete your visit with a minimum chance of incident.
So I've got all that, and I'm ready for her. But I've been trying to think of what else to have in case she wants a snack or something. Ideas?
