I was told that the major collectors got there on Tuesday and pretty much bought the main fair out two days before it opened. My brother got there on Thursday night (aka the "yesterday" above), and he said that the smaller fairs were still bumping with commerce. Some of the pieces were even affordable for someone like him, though he didn't buy anything. He also said that every night they'd rearrange the art so if you ended going back to the same fair, the booths would be totally different. There was so much art there though, it was hard to even consider going back. I don't think he hit all of the fairs in the weekend that he was there.
My brother said that the airport had more private planes hit Miami that weekend than ever before.
