Gift Suggestion
A partner and his senior associate at my old firm assisted me in the purchase of my home (they do some commercial real estate law). It's a small, niche firm, so there was always a very familial relationship among everyone. They did everything for free, and did a fantastic job. Any ideas for gifts? I have no clue what to get either of them. I have only worked at two firms, so these guys were my first (and showed me the ropes, etc.). I left on good terms.
The partner is a well-dressed perfectionist (I've never seen him cut a corner in my life). He likes pens, but I know nothing about good pens.
The associate (female, and now a partner) is loud and obnoxious, but really went out of her way to help. She has two kids and, besides being loud, is very down-to-earth.
Alcohol is probably out of the question for either.
