did you watch the second play? those teams weren't too friendly back then. the Laimbeer/Bird play wasn't really that dirty- especially for the time. Watch the angle from the basline. Bird got Rodman and Laimbeer in the air, Laimbeer is falling and he grabs Bird. Not that dirty. contrast that with Parrish sucker punching Laimbeer in the second play.
PS can you imagine how hard it was to listen to Tommy Heishon (sp? that is him isn't it?) doing play by play on those games. Parrish was justified? NWTF?
