Other people read this board, you know. Maybe even some long-time lurkers too afraid to post and ask what to do with their too-tall trees -- since yours are always clearly the perfect size, Ms. Perfect Christmas Everything -- and by asking they would open themselves to your ridicule and scorn.
For them, I offer helpful tree-trimming tips in an offhand fashion.
