They are mostly working class people that is why. Decent, hardworking, hard drinking garbage men, carpenters and union men. NTTAWTT, but it is the vast majority of them--kind of pleasant but uneducated and sometimes a tad dumb.
I followed them for years. way before tom brady and when like bledsoe and flutie did a stint on the team. I move, they win the SB. I was so pissed. My retirement plan advisor for my firm at the time was from Boston and they were soooo into it. I had to grin and bear it since that year the jets and giants sucked ass and bit it. same thing with red sox. I leave and they win world series.
p.s. too bad stinky gas didn't happen at the height of the tourists their fanny packed asses would have been stunk out of Rock Center.
