You've said this enough times that I'm starting to think you are serious about the generalization (either that, or you just like repeating yourself). FWIW, the most serious Pats fan I know was All-American in college and knows enough about football to bore a grown and hungover man who is trying to be nice to him because he's a client to tears. Ahem.
