Just out of curiousity, question for the board: when you are having sex with a new partner (i.e., not an established monogamous relationship), are there any circumstances under which you don't use a condom? I'm shocked by how many of my smart, educated female friends (who are old enough to know better) still have unprotected sex with new people and think it's ok bc they are on the pill (and some of them aren't even on the pill).
ETA: does anybody on this board actually have sex with new people anymore (besides Abba) or is everybody all married and committed and shit? We are boring.

Nope. Goes for new old partners too.
ETA: to 2 Fringie's kudos to public service marketing people regarding the conviction that I'll die of some terrible and disgusting wasting disease if I have non-monogamous sex without a condom.
ETA2: and I am on the pill, just in case the non-monogamous part turns into the other kind. Plus, my skin looks better.
