 Note:  this has happened to me before at the same place -- and I pointed out the error in the past, and the cashier just giggled and said that it was my lucky day and didn't charge me for the difference.
 
 If it makes any difference, the cashier is kind of cute.

 I would like to say that I consistently would point it out, but that probably isn't true.  Like you, I would generally think that pointing it out is the right thing to do, but I know there have been similar occassions where I have not.
